Question: I've charged the device, but it still shows a low battery level?
Answer: Please turn the device off and on again so it displays the current battery level. When the next GPS position is sent to the platform, you can see the new battery level.
Question: Is GPS also possible permanently without an alarm?
Answer: Yes, the positions are transmitted regularly during the ride and can be viewed at https://4g.amgotrack.com and the app.
Question: Why is a speed displayed even though the vehicle isn't moving?
Answer: The CarPro-Tec GPS module receives different satellites.
This changes constantly. Depending on the position of the satellite used in relation to the GPS module, the speeds are derived from the previous and next position calculations. This can be 5 m more or less, from which the system deduces that the GPS module/vehicle has moved and displays, for example, 2 km/h, even though the vehicle is stationary.
Question: Why are different altitudes displayed?
Answer: This also depends on the position of the satellites used for the calculation. If there are 5 or more satellites, the altitude is determined more accurately; if there are only 3, then determining the altitude is much more difficult. Since the satellites are constantly changing, the GPS module attempts to display an average value from the different calculations, and this value is subject to normal fluctuations.
Question: Why are different battery levels transmitted?
Answer: A full charge is sufficient for approximately 4 weeks of use, depending on various factors.
If a query is now performed, power is drawn from the battery. The poorer the radio connection for GPS and GSM, the more power is required.
The battery level is displayed accordingly lower, since at this level of consumption the remaining operating time would be shorter. If the connections are good, less power is required. The battery indicates a higher charge level or remaining operating time.
Usually, consumption decreases again after the signals are sent, so a different battery indicator can be displayed at a different time. Temperature also plays a role; if it's colder, batteries are sluggish and less powerful than at room temperature.
On smartphones, the battery indicator also changes constantly. However, since this would irritate the user, the indicators are "smoothed," so the customer sees a slowly decreasing level, even though this isn't the reality.
To view the current battery level on the web portal, turn off the CarPro-Tec completely for about 5 minutes. As soon as the CarPro-Tec has booted up again and received a signal, the current battery level is displayed in the portal.
Question: Why does the CarPro-Tec trigger even though no one has opened the vehicle?
Answer: The system uses a highly sensitive sensor that detects even the smallest fluctuations in air volume. Since every room is different in size, the sensor must be adjusted using the dial to prevent unwanted triggering.
If the sensitivity is too high, small fluctuations in air pressure,
e.g. Wind blowing past the vehicle's ventilation openings can trigger the alarm. Therefore, the sensitivity should be set so that only a sudden opening of the doors triggers the alarm.
No thief can open a vehicle in slow motion. Furthermore, no thief expects that opening the doors or breaking the windows will trigger an alarm.
To trigger an alarm independently of the room volume sensor, the CarPro-Tec® is available with GPS, wireless sensors for windows, doors, and motion detectors are also available (see AMG Shop).
Question: Is it possible to arm the alarm system while the user is in the vehicle without triggering a false alarm (nighttime security)?
Answer:
The control panel has a sensor that measures the pressure differences that occur when a driver's cab or trunk is opened. The sensitivity can be continuously adjusted, so you can select a setting that won't cause unwanted activation.
If you want to play it safe in difficult environmental conditions, simply use an additional wireless magnetic sensor and turn the main sensor down accordingly. The wireless sensors trigger the same alarm sequence as the main sensor in the control center.

Collection points for old device batteries/accumulators can be found wherever you can buy new device batteries, e.g., at:
- supermarket or discount store,
- Department Store,
- Drugstore,
- Electrical specialty store or
- Hardware store.
The collection boxes in stores are often located in the entrance or exit area, often near the packing tables, where other waste such as waste paper and packaging waste is also collected separately.
In addition, used device batteries can also be returned to municipal collection points, e.g.:
- at the hazardous waste collection point and
